As a Girl Friday 4 God you will find that there are many ways to serve others, especially through Works of Mercy.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is one of many volunteer networks working to help neighbors in need. They collect food to support the efforts of local food banks, they coordinate coat and clothing drives, they provide financial assistance to families in need, and much more.

Many churches have volunteers who decorate the altar during the Easter and Christmas seasons, as well as for other special events. Flowers add color, beauty and fragrance to delight our senses and to honor God’s presence among us.

Jeanne-Marie and Maria give of their time and talents as part of a gardening club. They meet regularly to keep the grounds of their church colorful and weed free. They work to create a welcoming environment as they tend to God’s creation.

Grateful for the gifts we have received, we help our brothers and sisters in time of need!
